Get your Data from Google Takeout

Download your Google Data for safekeeping.

1. access the website google.com/takeout
2. Sign into your account

1. this will open the menu below

3. Click Create Archive

1. This will gather all of your Google Data into one zip file for you to store on another computer. You may even email this zip file to yourself or store it on your Google Drive so you will have a cloud backup of the data. (I never trust my ability to keep an actual hard drive. I always misplace them.)

4. The next menu will take a few min because it is gathering all of your data into one file. When done, click download.
