Search by Reading Level in Google

Google has a special set of search tools that allows teachers (or anyone for that matter) do a Google Search by reading level.

Follow these easy steps to quickly search by reading level.

  • Type any search term into the Google Search bar.

  • Click on Search Tools as shown by the arrow

  • Click All Results as shown by arrow #1
  • Click Reading Level as shown by arrow #2

  • Choose the reading level

This is pretty awesome stuff. Google is education king. Google does not even have to try, it just makes sense for educators and students. For more on how Google Apps can help teachers with college and career readiness check out my book Google Apps Meets Common Core
